    I saw in another ? answered by Jo, where "they had a safari booked". What is this? Jo said they leave from AK and/or AKL. Also, how do you book this? 6th family trip, and we haven't seen this yet :0) Thanks for all your planning help!

    Hi Tricia,

    The safari I was referring to was the Grand Gathering Safari Celebration Dinner, this is open to all guests who have booked into a Disney Resort as a party of 8 or more. You can see some information about it HERE You get to ride at the end of the day on the Kilimanjaro Safari at the Animal Kingdom followed by dinner at Tusker House, you'll also be visited by some special guests.

    The Animal Kingdom Lodge also offers a safari on select days around the resorts savannas, this is for concierge guests only though.
