Bright Suns, Traveler!
That’s probably how you’ll be greeted in Batuu, Yvonne. Or perhaps you’ll hear “Rising Moons”, depending on the time of day that you are visiting Black Spire Outpost.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland is such an amazing immersive land! I’m sure your Star Wars-loving family will be overwhelmed with all the super cool details throughout Batuu. And, when you see the Millennium Falcon for the first time, your mind will be blown!
My son is a Star Wars fan, too. He is hoping to experience building his own lightsaber with the gatherers at
Savi’s Workshop on our trip to Batuu in September. As far as a reservation to build your own galaxy-defending weapon, this experience requires a valid credit card when booking up to 60 days prior on the
Disneyland website. Your credit card isn’t charged until the experience, it’s simply guaranteeing that you will be there for the experience. I did take a peek at Oct. 3, and it looks like there are plenty of reservations available for you.
Be sure to visit
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Iniquities once you have built your weapon. You can purchase other lightsaber customizations there, plus a variety of other out-of-this-galaxy items!
I was fortunate enough to be in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on the opening day of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I was able to get a same-day reservation at the Droid Depot to build my very own R2 unit. It was so much fun! I haven’t been into Savi’s Workshop yet, so I can’t wait to see it this fall! I know you will have an amazing experience!
May the Force Be With You,
Tracy
P.S. Try the Green Milk!
