Storytellers Cafe is one of my family's favorite places to dine while at the Disneyland Resort. To get there from the Disneyland Hotel, you can walk through
Downtown Disney and enter the
Grand Californian Hotel on the right-hand side after you pass
Disney Wonderful World of Sweets. From there, you will walk through the lobby/Great Hall and veer left toward the pool area. Storyteller's Case is right across from one of the pool entrances.
After you enjoy your character dining experience, you will reverse course and head back toward the Downtown Disney District and toward the Esplanade, which is the area between the two theme parks. There is a great photo opportunity with a large 70th anniversary castle display. So be sure to grab a picture there!
You could also choose to enter Disneyland Park via my favorite way. For this, you will need to walk back towards the Disneyland Hotel and jump on the
Monorail at the Downtown Disney Station - just check the Disneyland Mobile App to make sure it is open and running that day (valid theme park ticket and park reservation are required)! The
Monorail will drop you right into Tomorrowland, where you are steps away from a ride through space or going on a voyage to find Nemo!
