How do I get from Saratoga Springs resort to Wilderness Lodge?

    Hello Erin,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting us with your question today. After years of debating, my family finally booked a stay at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. We absolutely loved it and if you are staying there I'm certain you will, too! If you get a chance to relax and spend some time at the beautiful High Rock Spring Pool, I highly recommend it.

To navigate from Saratoga Springs to Disney's Wilderness Resort, you can utilize the complementary Disney Transportation. One rule of thumb I like to share with friends is that the transportation routes travel between Disney Resorts and Disney Parks (but not resort-to-resort). So I would take your resort bus from Saratoga Springs to Magic Kingdom. Then from Magic Kingdom, head to the boat launch and catch the scenic, relaxing water taxi ride over to the Wilderness Lodge.

Did you know that you can view resort bus times inside the My Disney Experience app? This can help you better plan when to head to the bus stop, and calculate your overall travel time... as it even shows an estimated park arrival time. It's super helpful! To find these handy bus times inside the app select the "☰" menu icon in the lower right corner, scroll down and select "Hotel Reservations". Here you should see all of your resort stay details, along with blue icon tabs towards the bottom for helpful things like Unlock Door, See Bus Times, and View Charges to see any expenses you've charged using your MagicBand.

My family loves making advance dining reservations at other Disney Resorts during our vacations. It's a fun opportunity to check out other areas of Walt Disney World, and many of the restaurants are terrific. If you are headed to the popular Story Book Character Dining at Artist Point, be sure to make your reservation as soon as your eligibility window opens up, 60 days in advance of check-in, beginning at 6 AM ET.

Erin, I hope this helps with your planning all the practically perfect details of your upcoming visit to Disney World! I'm certain you're going to have a wonderful time. Please feel free to send me any questions here at planDisney if I can assist with anything further.

    The magic is calling!
