Hi, we are going to get sanaa table service to go , My 3 year old would rather have three sides and no main dish vs the standard 1 main and 2 side kids menu option. Is that possible?

Jambo, Jaime! Welcome to planDisney. We're happy you're here!

There are so many reasons why Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite places to visit on my trips to Walt Disney World Resort. I love the grand entrance into the main lobby, soaking in the beautiful artwork, and watching the animals roam the savanna outside. However, at the top of my list is the incredible dining options! Sanaa offers adventurous flavors and comfort foods for both the Pumbaas and Simbas in your travel party. I'm so excited that you'll be able to visit!

You can place a to-go order for Sanaa through your My Disney Experience app! When looking at the app, the Kids' Create Your-Own Entree offers one entree with two sides. There doesn't appear to be an option to swap the entree for another side, though you could always speak with a Cast Member and ask about this option when you arrive at Sanaa. While nothing is guaranteed, they'll always do what they can to help accommodate your meals. If you'd prefer not to wait and truly are looking for a to-go option, you may want to consider placing a mobile order at The Mara. While Sanaa is at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, The Mara is at Jambo House in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. There is a little bit of a walk between these two destinations, but The Mara has sides and snacks that your little Mouseketeer may enjoy (think french fries, grapes, apple slices, mixed fruit cups, etc.). My family likes to volunteer one adult in our group to grab mobile orders at alternate locations when necessary, and then we meet back up together and head on our way!

Before you arrive, take some time to explore the My Disney Experience app. You already know that you can mobile order food and snacks, but you can also check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and access virtual queues! This is a great way to make sure you don't miss a minute of the magic.

    Wishing you the very merriest!
