Sanaa, need opinions. I canceled Yachtsmen Steakhouse for it and am second guessing myself. Not worries about my 4 kids, the kids menu is fine, but how is the food? I have never experienced Indian or African, nor has my hubby. Thanks

    Hi Jean,

While I have never eaten at Sanaa, I have eaten at Jiko-the Cooking Place and Boma which serves African inspired dishes. Both count among my favorite restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort. My family enjoys Boma both for breakfast and dinner and they are plain jane eaters.

I personally love Indian food. Like food of all cultures, it can range from mild to spicy. Tandoori chicken is a baked chicken with spices usually on the more mild side. It is cooked in an open oven or tangine and is delicious. The vegetable platter should be mild as well as I find Disney tends not to be overly spicy in their cooking. I have also never known anyone to pass up the naan bread which is so wonderful. The restaurant also offers a steak which is always a safe bet.

I always like to stretch my palate and find Disney a great place to explore it. Plus the location of the restaurant is a great atmosphere and you can walk around the resort afterwards.

The Yachtsman Steakhouse is good but I would go back to Africa in a heart beat.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation!
