Samsung galaxy watches now support Google pay , are we getting a my disney experience app for Samsung watches soon?

    Hiya Craig!

Happy New Year and welcome to planDisney! I am so glad you asked us this question today! I myself am a big fan of Disney's new mobile services including the My Disney Experience Mobile App and Disney MagicMobile. They truly make planning a Disney vacation and going to the parks so much easier, especially for people like me who always forget to bring their MagicBands! They really meant it when they said "Hakuna Matata!"

The My Disney Experience Mobile App is currently available on iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones. As for Disney MagicMobile, this service can be used to download your park admission and other select features on eligible Apple devices such as iPhones and Apple Watches as well as Google Pay enabled Android phones. It is my understanding that this service is not yet available on Samsung Galaxy watches, but if you have an Android smartphone you can download the app and use its mobile services such as Disney MagicMobile. You can also use a MagicBand in addition to Disney MagicMobile, so you can choose which option works best for you!

While this might not be the answer you were hoping for, I would definitely keep my eyes peeled as Disney is constantly evolving and working on new, more convenient ways to spend time at the most magical place on Earth. As stated on Disney Parks Blog when Disney MagicMobile was first launched, the service will be launched in phases, with Apple devices launching first in early 2021 and Android smartphones shortly after. Disney Parks Blog is a great place to look if you want to stay updated on new features. Some of the newest updates include new fun designs to customize your pass for The World's Most Magical Celebration with some of your favourite characters. You can also now use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to pay for food and merchandise using the card linked to your Resort hotel room!

In the meantime, you can reach out to a Cast Member directly via chat, email or phone if you have any questions about the My Disney Experience Mobile App. My fellow panelist Robyn also shared a detailed tutorial on how to use Disney MagicMobile on an Android smartphone if you would like to use this service!

Thank you for visiting planDisney, Craig, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions! I am wishing upon a star that you will get some answers soon.

Have a magical day in sunny Florida,

    Ariane
