I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch. Can I connect my Disney MagicMobile account to my Samsung smartwatch? If so, how?

Hey there, Amanda! Welcome back to planDisney.

Whether it's the White Rabbit watching his pocket watch, Cinderella racing down the steps before midnight, or Guests like us counting down the days until our Walt Disney World Resort vacation, time is a major Disney theme. While I don't think we've seen a Disney character configuring their smartwatch, I bet we will soon, and it's my pleasure to take some time to assist you with setting up Disney MagicMobile Service to maximize your visit!

When Disney MagicMobile Service rolled out this spring, it started with Apple devices, with Android following soon after. At this time, Disney Magic Mobile Service works on select Apple Watches and Google Pay enabled Android phones. As I understand it, the current Samsung Galaxy Smartwatches do not support Google Pay, so Disney MagicMobile Service is not yet available.

If you'd like to use Disney MagicMobile Service on your smartphone, it's a few simple steps. Open the My Disney Experience mobile app and tap the three horizontal bars on the bottom right. Then, tap "Disney MagicMobile" and follow the steps. My favorite part is choosing the Pass Style to add to your phone's wallet - there are so many cute designs! Once you've created your Pass, just tap "Add to Wallet." If you don't see this option in your app, be sure you're running the latest version of the app and that you have either Apple Pay or Google Pay set up on your phone. If you need help with these steps, the friendly Cast Members at the My Disney Experience help desk can be reached at (407) 939-4357.

I see you are visiting in February 2022, so there's lots of time for more functionality to roll out. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements as well as the Disney MagicMobile Service website. The Disney Parks Blog noted that the rollout of Disney MagicMobile Service would be in phases, so I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that you can "bibbidi bobbidi boo" your smartphone soon!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Amanda. If you have any further questions as you plan your visit, we're happy to help. Have the best TIME at Walt Disney World!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
