Hello Elizabeth!
I am so glad that you have sailed by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with questions about your upcoming Alaskan adventure on the Disney Wonder! There is no better way to see Alaska than with Captain Mickey. We recently cruised the Alaskan coast this past summer and I am so glad we took a chance on this itinerary. When my kids first said they wanted to travel to Alaska...let's just say I wasn't enthused. Being from the cold north, my idea of summer vacation is sun and sand. I am so glad they convinced me to experience Alaska and I hope you enjoy it as well!
Disney Cruise Line's Personal Navigator is a "newsletter" delivered to your stateroom each evening. The Personal Navigator has a world of information including details on the next day's port (or sea day) with dining menus, showtimes, onboard activities, character experiences, shopping and spa specials as well as the all important drink of the day! My favorite part is the daily schedule which includes a calendar-like grid of the next day's activities by time and location. Our family brings colored highlighters to code the activities each of us would like to attend.
With the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for Apple or Android, you get the best of your Personal Navigator and more right on your personal device. Quickly access dining menus, showtimes, onboard activities plus your own booked activities and Port Adventures! You can "highlight' activities and shows that interest you by adding favorites to your list on the app. The app also allows you to chat with other guests traveling in your party (and new friends!) and is a great tool to keep everyone updated on where you are onboard the ship. Be sure to download the app before you leave port to avoid roaming charges.
Enjoy making magical memories! Bon Voyage! Angie
