Hi Faith,
Welcome to planDisney!
Lucky for all of us,
theme park tickets to the Walt Disney World® Resort are currently on sale for December of 2024! So, check your dates and you can see prices for tickets at each theme park. Also keep an eye on
Special Offers because there may be a special offer applicable to the dates of your visit that will allow you to take advantage of a discount.
As you finalize those plans, I hope you are considering a
vacation package that includes a stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. We have a few favorite resort hotels although, quite honestly, all of them are lovely. Take a look at the list and review the amenities at each, then do some comparison pricing. Although my family is always on a budget, we will choose resort hotels that offer multiple transportation options. Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, and Disney's BoardWalk Inn, for example, all are within walking distance of EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios and they have access to the Disney Skyliner. The walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios is longer than the walk to EPCOT and typically takes us at least 20 minutes.
As you consider the tickets to purchase, also keep in mind the number of days you would need. I suggest at least 4 Day Standard Theme Park Tickets so that you can visit each park at least once. You can also add the
Park Hopper® Option if you want the ability to visit multiple theme parks per day. We actually appreciate both - there is plenty to do at each park to enjoy the standard 1 park per day ticket, but we also enjoy starting the day in one park and ending in another! Be sure to check out all of your
ticket options prior to making a decision.
Faith, I hope this helps! Once you purchase those tickets or book a vacation package with theme park tickets, continue the fabulous planning. If you are going during
The Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort,
advanced dining reservations will be a must-have, so be sure to make some selections!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
