We are sailing on the Wonder in one week and have a couple of weather-related questions: It looks as though the temp in the Caymens will be 70-80 degrees. How does that generally relate to the temperature at sea? How does rain affect on-board activities?

    Ahoy Sarah!
The final countdown is on, and you will be casting off for the Caribbean very soon! I'm sure you can't wait to board the magnificient Disney Wonder for some warm, tropical weather! You can expect sea temperatures to be similar to what you feel outside since the Caribbean doesn't experience colder weather like what we do in the states.
I've cruised over a dozen times and found that if it rains, it is similar to a quick Florida afternoon shower so hopefully that will be your experience next week.  But if it does rain, there is always plenty to do onboard a Disney ship!  First run movies, cooking demonstrations, trivia and game shows in the lounges, character greetings, shopping (if the ship is not in port), kids programming, family crafts, and karaoke just to name a few!   The daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator will be filled with both indoor and outdoor fun so don't worry at all!
Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel, Sarah!  If you have any other last minute questions, please let me know!
Best wishes for a sunny vacation on the high seas!
