Sailing the Wonder in April, kids are 8, & 9. They r not great swimmers & never swam in open water. Looking to book either the Key West Cat. Snail and Snorkel Tour or Seahorse Cat. Snorkel Adv. Are children allowed?

    Ahoy Mailynne!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Captain Mickey, his First Mate, Minnie, and the rest of the crew are waiting to welcome you to the magnificent Disney Wonder on your April sailing!  It won't be long now!
I checked in to the two adventures you are considering, and although I haven't experienced them personally, I have snorkeled and sailed in the Caribbean before.  Children five and older are allowed on both of these excursions, but if your two aren't comfortable swimming in open waters, these adventures may not be the best fit.  On Castaway Cay, you might want to consider Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure because swimming is not a requirement for the stingrays, and the snorkeling offered is optional.  In Key West, the Glass Bottom Boat Tour on the Pride of Key West is a great choice if your family is looking to explore the beautiful marine life including North America's only living coral reef!  Since it is only about three hours long, you will still have time to navigate your way around the city or head back to the ship for more on board fun!
I hope my answer helps with your planning, Mailynne!  Please stop by again if you think of anything else before your wondrous voyage begins!
Have a magical day and happy planning!
