Ahoy, Joanne!
You're going to be cruising with Mickey to
ALASKA this week! Woo Hoo! I remember how excited my crew was a few yEARs ago when we boarded the
Disney Wonder, so I can only imagine how thrilled you must be to embark on your Alaskan adventure. There's really nothing quite like it!
I think the biggest challenge about sailing to the Last Frontier is the
packing. There are so many things to consider like your waterproof outer layers, binoculars, swimsuits (it was 80 degrees our last sea day!), clothes for formal nights, and the right shoes! I know I appreciated having plenty of space to store luggage under the bed in our stateroom because it was the most I've ever brought on a cruise. I'm sure you are trying to maximize your space for everything you might need, so I'm glad you sent in this question. All
inside, oceanview and verandah staterooms carry H2O+ products. You'll find Sea Marine Revitalizing Shampoo & Conditioner, Sea Salt Body Wash & Lotion in your bathroom along with a bar of soap by the sink. I'm picky about what I use on my hair, and I thoroughly enjoy these products when I sail with Disney Cruise Line. I've even purchased some products to take home from the
merchandise shops on board and ordered them from
shopDisney! I close my eyes in the shower at home and envision myself on a Disney Cruise!
Joanne, one more tip is to leave your hairdryer at home. There will be a 220V dryer in the desk drawer, so please save the space for something else you might need! Safe travels and have the most WONDERful week in Alaska!
