Hi Allison,
Welcome aboard planDisney! You must be so excited about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation!
I'm glad you are getting all your important
travel documents in order so you will be ready for online check-in when your date arrives based on your
Castaway Club membership level. If this is your first Disney cruise, your check-in will begin 30 days prior to your sail date. You will be happy to know you may use an original state-issued birth certificate, which should be the same as the one you received from vital records. You will need a physical Government-issued photo ID (copies or digital/mobile state-issued IDs are not permitted). You will submit these documents electronically during online check-in and you must
bring them with you to board the ship.Allison, while travel documents are important, let's not forget about all the fun you will have aboard
Disney Wish! There is truly something for everyone aboard this gorgeous ship. The first time I sailed on Disney Wish, I used the deck maps in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to help me find my way. And one little tip, be sure to click the heart icon (in the app) next to the activities you don't want to miss. Then, the app will send a reminder 15 minutes before the start time so you don't miss it.
I hope this information is exactly what you need, Allison. Please let us know if you have other questions.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
