Ahoy there, Kimberlee!
I am so happy to welcome you aboard planDisney! How incredibly exciting that you'll be sailing on the
Disney Treasure (my favorite ship, by the way!), and even better, your
Very Merrytime Cruise actually takes place over Christmas! That combination is pure holiday magic. The Treasure is already such a stunning ship, but during the holiday season it becomes even more enchanting with festive decor, twinkling lights, and the warmest holiday atmosphere.
I actually had the chance to sail on a Very Merrytime Cruise last year, and oh my goodness, it was such a blast! From the beautiful tree lighting ceremony in the Grand Hall, to those magical character meet-and-greets with our favorite friends in their holiday best, to the special entertainment and seasonal treats, there was holiday cheer around every corner. You are in for so much fun, and I can't wait for you to experience it for yourself!
I don't blame you one bit for wanting to know your themed nights ahead of time...it's so fun to start planning outfits and activities early! Just keep in mind that entertainment and dress-up nights can sometimes shift, but here's the schedule that's currently lined up for your sailing:
- Night One - Cruise Casual: This is the perfect evening to settle in your stateroom, explore the ship, and enjoy your very first dinner at sea without having to worry about anything too fancy.
- Night Two - Formal Night: Time to dress to impress! Many Guests love going all out with gowns, suits, or sparkly attire, and it makes for some amazing photos around the beautifully decorated ship.
- Night Three - Cruise Casual: Another laid-back evening where you can keep things simple and comfortable.
- Night Four - Pirate Night: A true Disney Cruise Line classic! Guests of all ages can join in the fun by dressing up like swashbucklers, from full pirate costumes to a simple eye patch or bandana. Don't forget to catch the pirate-themed deck party and fireworks at sea!
- Night Five - Cruise Casual with a Festive Twist (Christmas Eve): While technically listed as cruise casual, this night feels extra magical because it's Christmas Eve. The ship will be buzzing with holiday cheer, and this is also the night of Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party! You'll see Guests dressed in everything from sparkly holiday outfits to fun Christmas sweaters and even cozy pajamas. It's such a special evening filled with holiday activities and memories you'll treasure.
- Night Six - Semi-Formal Night: A chance to add a touch of elegance without going full formal. Think cocktail dresses, dress shirts, or anything that feels a little elevated.
- Night Seven - Cruise Casual: End your sailing on a relaxed note. Many Guests opt for simple, comfortable attire, so they can focus on savoring those last special moments at sea.
Kimberlee, before setting sail, I highly recommend downloading the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. This app is like your personal guide at sea, keeping you updated with everything from daily activities and showtimes to dining menus, deck maps, and even messaging to stay in touch with your sailing party.
As you continue planning your magical holiday adventure, don't hesitate to sail back to planDisney anytime! We love helping Guests deck their cruise with extra holiday cheer, sprinkle in special moments, and make every magical memory shine bright this festive season.
Ho Ho Ho! Bon Voyage!
