Welcome aboard, Jacqueline! My family loves sailing with Disney Cruise Line in November. The weather is still very, very, summer-like in the Bahamas and Caribbean, but not so hot that it's uncomfortable. It really is the perfect time to sail, in our opinion!
You'll want to check the weather forecast about a week before you set sail, but you can expect the temperatures to have highs in the 80's (sometimes 90's) and lows in the 70's. So, pack summer clothing, but also be sure to include a light sweater or jacket for cooler and breezier nights on deck at sea, as well as for inside the ship. I tend to get a bit chilly in the restaurants and in the theaters, so I always have a sweater with me just in case.
Your seven-night sailing will include five Cruise Casual nights, one Formal night, and one Semi-Formal night, so pack clothing for those special evenings as well. One of the Cruise Casual attire nights is
Pirate Night. Many guests will bring pirate costumes and accessories from home to wear to really get into the spirit of that fun night. Other costumes and accessories will be for sale onboard too, but if you have some or can get them inexpensively before you sail, I'd recommend doing that. It's not just for the kids! Even adults put on their swashbuckling best that night when you'll get to enjoy a pirate-themed menu at dinner, pirate deck games, a pirate show out on deck and the Buccaneer Blast Fireworks at sea!
So, have fun planning over these next two months before you set sail, Jacqueline! You're in for a magical vacation!
