Sailing on 01/12/2014. Palo's open reservation is only on the 1st night,do u suggest we miss the on deck party to enjoy palo?..will shorts be allowed during dining?..or in the ship in general?.. Is there a formal dinner during a 4 night cruise?

Welcome back, Christiam! I'm really glad you'll be dining at Palo while onboard next week. That is my favorite dining experience and my husband and I never miss a chance to enjoy a meal there!

The Sail Away Deck Party that first day usually begins around 4:15 or 4:30 (check your Personal Navigator for specific times on your particular sailing) and lasts about 45 minutes. That should leave you plenty of time to enjoy both the Deck Party and dine at Palo!

Nice shorts are allowed on cruise casual nights in the main dining restaurants, however Palo has a strict dress code which you can read about on Palo's webpage. Be sure to pack appropriate attire for your meal there, as they will ask guests to change if they arrive underdressed, and I wouldn't want you to miss the amazing food and atmosphere in that adult exclusive restaurant.

While there isn't a Formal Night on your four-night sailing, there will be a Dress Up night, so if you're looking to wear a fancier outfit, that would be the night to do it! You can expect this to be your second evening onboard.

Have a wonderful cruise next week, Christiam!
