We are sailing on one of the Very Merrytime cruises in December. Seasonal and/or celebratory light bulb strings are prohibited by DCL. Does that include battery-operated (2 AA) lights as well? Thanks!

    Ahoy, Diana!
It is wonderful to have you back with another great question. Your Very Merrytime Cruise is just around the corner! Can you believe it? You'll be in the midst of the holiday cheer celebrating with Mickey, Minnie and the rest of the gang real soon!
I'm glad you asked this question because Disney Cruise Line prohibits any type of string lights in staterooms due to safety concerns. If you want to enjoy some festive decor in your stateroom, I suggest checking out the Gift and Amenities section on the Disney Cruise Line website. The DCL Holiday Stateroom Decorations are absolutely adorable and will provide you with a warm welcome every time you enter your room. You will be able to take them with you after your vacation and use them at home for years to come! They will be a wonderful keepsake of your magical voyage.
Diana, thank you again for cruising by with your question. Please keep us posted if you think of anything else before the big day arrives.
