Ahoy, Kelly!
You are in for a real treat when it's time for your
Halloween on the High Seas Cruise! I'm so glad you asked this question because there are few things you'll want plan for as you pack. Dressing in your pirate garb always adds to the fun for the Pirate Night festivities! You will also want to bring along your family's Halloween costumes for the Halloween-themed night! My family loved dressing up on our Halloween sailing a few years ago and attending Mickey's Mouse-Querade Party! This festive event included games, the characters in their adorable Halloween attire and trick or treating! It was a highlight of the sailing and the fall-themed decor, including the Pumpkin Tree in the Grand Lobby Atrium, was the perfect backdrop for the majority of our cruise photos! The daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app (free for download for Apple or Android devices) will have all the spook-tacular details while you're aboard.
The other two nights of your sailing you can plan on cruise casual and an optional dress-up night. I love that every night of your cruise calls for a different attire which makes for great family photo opportunities each evening. The pictures my family has taken over the years aboard Disney Cruise Line are my absolute favorite souvenirs! They definitely keep the magical memories alive! Be sure to check out
Photography page for all the details on taking and purchasing photos on your spooky sailing.
Please let us know if you have any other last minute questions, Kelly!
Bon Voyage!
