Welcome aboard, Susan! I can feel your excitement about your upcoming cruise on the
Disney Dream! This last week until you set sail will certainly have so much magic in the air as you dream about setting sail and heading out to sea with Captain Mickey! I'm thrilled for you!
My family and I love sailing with extended family, as it sounds like you are doing! You're going to have so much delight experiencing a Disney cruise not only yourself, but with your young granddaughter! I'm sorry that due to health regulations, only children who are fully potty trained can swim in the pools, as
swim diapers are not allowed in the pools. However, have you seen the amazingly fun
Nemo's Reef area on the Dream? When my kids were little, they wanted to spend every waking moment splashing and playing there. Besides the pop geysers and jets, there is also a fun toddler sized Mr. Ray stingray slide in that area that your little princess will probably love! As parents, I loved that the area was glassed in, so no little ones are going to easily wander off if I glanced away for a moment. I honestly kind of miss getting to hang out in that area playing with my kids now that they're too old!
Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to your mobile devices before you arrive at port. This free app will keep you in the loop with all of the activities and events going on all day and night around the ship and at Castaway Cay! There are lots of activities for the preschool and toddler kids, so I hope you'll take part in those with your granddaughter!
Have such a magical adventure, Susan!
