Sailing out of Miami Dec 4. We are flying into Ft. Lauderdale since it is cheaper. Than I read about the Tri rail that runs from Ft. Lauderdale airport to Miami airport, $3.75 pp one way. Have you ever used this rail service and will it be easy to find?

Welcome aboard, Tracy! Your cruise aboard the newly re-imagined Disney Magic is coming up in just a few more weeks, can you believe it? You're in for quite the treat with all the new excitement on the Magic!

I have not taken the Tri Rail between the Ft. Lauderdale airport and the Miami airport myself. However, I took a look at the website for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority which operates the Tri Rail and it looks like trains depart the Ft. Lauderdale airport station every hour on the weekends and every 45 minutes or so on weekdays, heading south for Miami and arrive at the Miami airport station about 45 minutes later. I do see that it is recommended that guests arrive 20 minutes at least, prior to the departure time as trains cannot wait on passengers.

Check out the train schedule on their website before you leave, Tracy, and plan to get to the train after you've collected your luggage. From what I've heard, there is a free shuttle at the airport that will take you to the Tri Rail station.

Another inexpensive option is to take  SuperShuttle service from Fort Lauderdale airport to the Miami airport. I've used Super Shuttle to and from airports in many cities across the United States and have found them to be reliable and easy to reserve, so that's another option, Tracy.

Good luck with your final plans before you set sail! I'm happy to help if you have other questions!
