We are sailing for the Marvel Day at Sea on the Dream on March 10th. Is there also a pirate night and other themed nights (semi-formal/formal) like on regular cruises? Or does the marvel day at sea replace some of that? Thanks!

    Hi Kari,

Welcome back to planDisney! It is always fun to greet a seasoned Disney traveler returning to the marvelous Disney Cruise Line universe.

You are going to have an epic time on your Marvel Day at Sea cruise! According to the current schedule, you have not one, but TWO nights of Fireworks at Sea! Here is what you can expect on your cruise:

    • Monday - Cruise Casual
    • Tuesday - Pirate Night
    • Wednesday - Cruise Casual
    • Thursday -  Optional Dress-Up and Mickey's Super Hero Celebration
    • Friday - Marvel Day at Sea
This schedule is subject to change, so check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app when you board the ship just in case.

"Heroes Unite" is an amazing nighttime spectacular sure to send you straight into the multiverse! There will be stunts, pyrotechnics, special effects, and more Marvel characters than you could ever imagine. You are welcome to dress as your favorite superhero, just keep in mind that full-face masks can only be worn during the photo-ops with Characters. Also, toys or props that resemble guns, knives or other related implements are among the items prohibited onboard.

I hope this information helps as you daydream about your vacation, Kari! Stop by any time with other questions.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
