It is great to "sea" you again, Vanessa!
Thank you for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question. It sounds like you are assembling your own Avengers for an epic adventure! You must have achieved superhero status in your home as you count down the days until your
Marvel Day at Sea. Let's get you ready for your action-packed vacation!
On this special day during your cruise, the ship will sail straight into the Marvel universe. You will find yourself walking amongst heroes AND villains, treated to Marvel themed activities and special meet and greets. I find that this is one of the most interactive events Disney Cruise Line offers to guests.
Activities are subject to change with each sailing, so use your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to find when and where to meet the defenders of our galaxy and become a guardian yourself with events like Journey Into the Mystic Arts with Doctor Strange and top secret training at the Marvel Super Hero Academy in the
Oceaneer Club! End your evening with a real battle of good versus evil during the Marvel Heroes Unite deck show, hosted by Iron Man himself, Tony Stark.
You do not need to know the origin story of each hero and villain to enjoy this epic day at sea. If you DO want to learn some basics, hosting a Marvel night before you sail and screening The Avengers movie will help you become familiar with some of the heroes you will see onboard. This movie could also serve as research for potential costumes to add to your packing list, as guests are encouraged to dress the part during these events, just like Pirate Night!
Call on the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if you have any additional questions, Vanessa. We will assemble and rescue you in your time of need!
Bon voyage! Angie
