We're sailing on The Magic on Sept. 27,2014. The ship won't be sailing until 9:30 p.m.We're flying in early, and wondered if we can go into town after getting settled? Getting excited!!

Welcome aboard, Petrice! Wow! In just a few more days, you'll be headed south to San Juan, Puerto Rico to board the Disney Magic and set sail! How exciting!

What's even more wonderful about that particular itinerary is that since the Magic won't be heading out to sea until later in the evening, guests will be allowed to check in, get settled onboard, and then head off to explore San Juan on their own before coming back onboard. What a treat!

Check-in begins at 11:00 a.m. at the port terminal. Once you are checked in and have been enjoying your time onboard for a bit, you're welcome to leave the ship to wander around San Juan. Old Town is absolutely beautiful and has so much history and culture to experience. I highly encourage you to spend some time there! There will be a safety drill at 4:00 p.m. onboard the ship. However, since on this particular itinerary, guests are able to come and go from the ship that day, if you miss that safety drill, a makeup safety drill will take place at 10:00. You are required to attend one or the other, so take your pick, but be sure to attend one of them. Guests must be back onboard by 9:30 p.m., so plan your time in port accordingly and you'll be all set!

    Have a wonderful cruise, Petrice!
