Ahoy, Jennifer!
Are you ready for a double dose of pixie dust on your cruise this November? Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for a day of magic will definitely be a highlight of your wondrous voyage! You'll get to hunt for Hidden Mickeys on land and sea on this vacation!
My family experienced this same itinerary a few years ago and loved being whisked away on a Disney Cruise Line motor coach to enjoy attractions, shows, character appearances and some of our favorite Disney foods! Like you, we wanted to eat dinner on the ship so we headed back on one of the motor coaches that left in the late afternoon. If my memory serves me correct, these ran about every 30 minutes. I called Disney Cruise Line to verify this, but they do not know the exact timing as of now. I do remember we received detailed information in our stateroom the day prior to our arrival at Port Canaveral with everything we needed to know including pick-up times and locations. And our fabulous cruise director gave us lots of helpful tips and info at the show the night before. It's also good to know that the ride back to the port will be around 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on traffic. For our sailing, dinner was done differently since many Guests were still ashore. Lumiere's was open seating from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A buffet was available at Carioca's from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Cabanas from 9:00 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. When we got back, we went straight to dinner and were seated immediately.
Jennifer, be sure to reserve your departure time and theme park in "My Cruise Activities" in the Planning Center once your
booking window opens up. I recommend being on one of the first motor coaches to maximize your time ashore. Breakfast will be available starting around 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Have a magical day!
