Ahoy Shahin!
Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am thrilled to hear you will soon be sailing away on my favorite ship, the
Disney Magic! It sounds like you are finalizing your plans and
packing lists. I bet the excitement is growing in your house as your countdown is shrinking away!
I always find myself doing laundry at least once during our cruises. It is so easy and helps to keep our suitcases light when we travel. You are correct, use of the
self-service laundry is charged directly to your stateroom folio. Use of both the washers and dryers cost $3 per cycle for each machine. You can also purchase laundry soap and dryer sheets for $1 per cycle. Prices are subject to change, so be sure to check the self-service screen in the laundry room for the most current prices.
To make this chore a little easier while you are onboard, I would recommend traveling with a collapsible or folding laundry bin. You can place it in the closet and throw your laundry in the bin as you sail. Once you are ready to wash your clothing, you will then have something to carry your laundry down to the laundry room! I also pack a few laundry detergent pods and dryer sheets in a plastic bag in my checked luggage so I am ready for laundry day and do not have to purchase them on the ship.
Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App before you set sail. This is a great tool for you to find all of the onboard activities, deck plans and dinner menus for your cruise. This app will also tell you when your laundry is done!
Tumble on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail! "Sea" ya real soon! Angie
