Welcome back, Narelle! On the
Disney Magic you'll be enjoying all sorts of Christmas festivities, especially since you're sailing over Christmas Day itself!
Disney's Very Merrytime cruises are so much fun for all guests! Of course, you can expect a visit from Santa, there will be a life-size gingerbread house in the atrium, a Christmas tree lighting ceremony on your first evenings, a festive deck party, crafts, religious services, and lots more Christmas themed activities and events!
The special Christmas dinner menu last year was amazing, so I'm sure you'll enjoy some similar selections this year! First of all, who could pass up a Poinse-tini (Christmas themed martini) or a Christmas Cookies dessert drink with Baileys, Kahlua peppermint and vanilla ice cream? I'd like one, please! I think they even offered a Scrooge drink as the non-alcoholic selection!
There were fabulous main courses on last year's Christmas menu like the traditional Roast Turkey, Rib Roast, and a Marmalade Glazed Baked Ham, but they also offered options like Roast Chilean Sea Bass or Pumpkin and Mascarpone Ravioli. Vegetarian offerings, lighter meals, and of course lots of delicious appetizers and soups and salads rounded out last year's meals selections. Traditional sweets like a Yule Log and Apple Pie a la Mode were on the dessert menu for after dinner, plus Steamed Christmas Fruit Pudding and Banana Caramel Bliss.
Disney's chefs are always looking for ways to update the menu offerings, so you will not have the exact same menu as last year, but since I don't know what they've got up their sleeves for this year's menu, I thought I could at least give you a glimpse into last year's selections will give you a great idea of the type of feast you have in store!
Happy planning, Narelle!
