Hi there, Eric,
Adventure awaits your crew on the Disney Treasure next week! I'm sure you can hardly believe it's almost time to head to Florida to set sail with Captains Mickey and Minnie and their seafaring crew.
I was fortunate enough to sail the Eastern Caribbean itinerary on the
Disney Treasure this past May, so I'm happy to steer you in the right direction as you finalize your plans for a Saturday sail away. Formal night is planned for day two (day at sea), and
Pirate Night is usually scheduled for night four (Tortola). Fireworks will be weather permitting, so fingers crossed for smooth seas when you cast off from the island. You can also plan a semi-formal night on Thursday, after another glorious day at sea. I hope this helps as you
pack for your Caribbean vacation.
Eric, one of the many reasons I love the Eastern Caribbean itinerary is that it gives you three full days to enjoy the ship as the destination. The Disney Treasure has so much to experience that you'll want to keep a close eye on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to stay up-to-date with all the ship's happenings. A few I recommend are "The Jungle Cruise: An Interactive Story Adventure" with Coriander and Sage, the ship's storytellers (they are a highlight, so really anything with them), "Disney The Tale of Moana" in the Walt Disney Theatre, and for adults only, "Choose Wisely! An Indiana Jones Comedy Adventure." I also suggest ending the cruise on the final night with "Treasure Found" in the Grand Hall. This is truly the chef's kiss to an incredible week on this beautiful vessel. Oh, and I can't forget to mention all the unique spaces on the Treasure. Be sure to visit them all with your camera in hand. The Imagineers thought of every incredible detail when designing these spaces. If I had to pick a couple of favorites, it would be the two round booths next to the bar area in
Skipper Society, just off the Grand Hall, and
The Haunted Mansion Parlour.
Safe travels, Eric! We hope you have the most magical week.
Nancy
