Welcome aboard, Mark! Hooray for your
Alaskan sailing this summer! You will have such a magical experience as you venture north to the Last Frontier with Captain Mickey and his crew. Besides all of the amazing activities and Alaskan-themed events onboard, as well as the spectacular scenery by which you'll sail, I hope you've also booked exciting Port Adventures that take you further into the history and culture of Alaska.
On the last day, guests must be off the ship by 9:00 a.m., and the Disney Ground Transfers do leave that morning, so I'm sorry that you will have a bit of a wait at the airport when you return. However, another option would be to rent a car so that after you disembark the Wonder, you can do a bit of exploring on your own around Vancouver, and also have a place to store your luggage in the trunk. There is so much to see in Vancouver, you can certainly make a fun morning out of it before heading to the airport.
Although, I do have an even more exciting suggestion. Disney offers a debarkation day Port Adventure in Vancouver that guests can book once onboard the ship. This adventure leaves right from the ship that morning and takes you to the
Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park. If you've never been there before, you simply must experience this huge swaying bridge. Guests can walk across the whole thing - if they dare! It's a pretty amazing spot and a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Then, guests are taken to the airport at the conclusion of their adventure. Now, the only problem is that Disney allows guests on this tour who have flights that depart no later than 3:00, so if there is any chance of booking a later flight, that would be ideal.
Have fun planning this exciting adventure, Mark!
