    Sailing 10/20/12 with my DH and 5yo DS from Galveston. Is the Atlantis Submarine better in Grand Cayman or Cozumel. Which of these ports would be better for the beach excursions?

    Welcome back to the Moms Panel!  October is just around the corner, and the Disney Magic will be navigating her way to Galveston before you know it!  I love sailing the Western Caribbean itinerary and have enjoyed visiting both Cozumel and Grand Cayman!  You will see similar marine life on the Atlantis Submarine Expedition on both islands so I don't think you will be disappointed with either choice.  If you are looking for a beach excursion the Seven Mile Beach Break on Grand Cayman is a great option.  This is a beautiful beach and a beach chair and drink is included. Disney Cruise Line will take care of everything including being transported to this beachy paradise on an air-conditioned van!
