We are sailing on our first cruise on the Disney Dream to the bahamas in October. Our stateroom is "Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Navigator's Verandah Category 07A." What does this mean? Thanks.

    Hey Cindy!

Your dreams of casting off on your first cruise adventure on the Disney Dream will soon come true!  Your Bahamian adventure will be just magical as you sail away into the sunset on this classic ocean liner!  An added bonus for your voyage is enjoying the ocean float by from your Navigator's Verandah.  When the Disney Imagineers created this spectacular ship some verandah staterooms needed to have a partly obstructed view to fit in with the overall design.  So, your verandah won't be quite as open as the regular verandah staterooms.  The railing is a regular verandah railing with plexiglass going from the top of the railing to the bottom.  This is an added perk since you will be sitting a lot of the time while you enjoy this space.  Having one of these verandahs also means a bit more balcony privacy for your crew.  Although it is also a bit smaller, I still think you will be very pleased with your magnificent ocean views!

As you continue to plan and prepare for your time on the high seas, please visit the Moms Panel with any other questions you may have before the big day

    Have a magical day!
