Welcome aboard, Julie! Let the countdown begin! Before you know it, you'll be boarding the Disney Magic and setting sail for quite an adventure! Great timing too, as I'm sure it's getting pretty chilly up in New York, and you'll be ready to head south for the warm waters of the Caribbean soon!
When you arrive at port, you'll receive your Key To The World Cards which will list your dining rotation, as will the dining tickets left in your stateroom. However, I know that you'll want to be sure you book your fabulous meal at
Palo for a night when you'll be dining in a restaurant that you've already experienced, so you may want to see if you can request a certain rotation. While Disney does not guarantee requests like this, they do their best to accommodate them. Each time my family has requested a certain rotation, we've received it! So, hopefully you will too! Give the agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 and ask about the specific rotations. For example, for a five night sailing, if you have the LAACL rotation, you'd dine at Lumiere's the first night, Animator's Palate on nights two and three, Carioca's on night four, and again at Lumiere's on the last night. Requesting one like this would mean you could then book Palo on night three or five, knowing that you'd otherwise be revising one of the
restaurants you've already experienced.
Please know that the first day onboard, there are a few hours as guests are boarding, when there is a station set up for Palo reservation changes if need be. Last time I sailed, they were set up in Promenade Lounge so that guests could check in about any changes they needed for Palo. But, be sure to ask where they're set up for your particular sailing. I hope that helps as you plan, Julie!
Happy cruising!
