    Sailing on the Fantasy 12/26/15 - 01/02/16. Will there still be a pirate night since we will be having a new year's eve party? If so are they 2 separate nights or combined into one? Will new year's eve be our formal night? Thanks

    My family was lucky enough to ring in the 2014 New Year on the Disney Magic. Our New Year's Eve Party was the same night as our Pirate Party, but we were on a 3-Night cruise. We were instructed to dress in either formal attire or pirate attire for that evening.

    Since you are sailing on the Disney Fantasy, which is a 7-Night itinerary, I would be surprised if your New Year's Eve was the same as your Pirate Party night. Once your cruise is closer, you can always call Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532 to find out the exact answer.

    One tip I will share is to definitely be in the atrium for the New Year's countdown. We watched the countdown on a giant television screen and were served champagne and kid-friendly drinks in super cute plastic Disney Cruise Line champagne flutes. At midnight, confetti rained down on us, and it was so beautiful! It was one of the best memories on a Disney Cruise Line ship that I have!
