We are sailing on Fantasy in October 2012 w/ 3 kids ages 5, 3 and 22 months. Are toddler sized eating utensils available on the ship or should I bring some from home? Also, is a pocket provided for the fish extender or what should we bring to use for it?

    Hi Jim!

I love to hear you will be embarking on the newest member of the Disney Fleet!  The majestic Disney Fantasy will soon be sailing to the tropical Caribbean ports of call and before you know it,  it will be your turn!

I have cruised during the toddler years and do not remember any child size utensils on board.  I do remember bringing my own and even purchased some special Disney themed silverware from the The Disney Store that I gave to my children in a cruise goody bag.  To be on the safe side, I would plan on packing some for your crew to use during your sailing.

The Fish Extender activity is not a Disney Cruise Line sponsored event.  Personally, I have not participated in the exchange, but have heard it is a lot of fun!  Cruise groups on Disney Cruise message boards arrange all the details online so you will want to do a Google search to see what others have done for their fish extender.  When I was on the Dream, I noticed ones made out of fabric personalized with the family name on it. It hung from the ornamental seahorse (rather than a fish on the Magic & Wonder) next to the stateroom door.

As you prepare for your magical voyage, please stop back by the Moms Panel, and let me know any other questions you may have about your cruise.  I'm happy to help!

    Have a fantastical day!
