I am sailing on the Fantasy. We will have a Navigators Verandah. How private are these? I read some verandahs have clear plexiglass dividing them. I don't think I'd like others starring at me while i am enjoying my balcony.

Welcome back, Patty! When you set sail on the Disney Fantasy, you'll love having a verandah to enjoy on those nice nights as you watch the sea. We also really enjoy ordering breakfast from the complimentary room service menu and enjoying a lazy morning eating on the verandah.

A Navigator's Verandah will have a solid wall looking out to the water, so the one drawback about these is that you will have to stand from your chair to be able to see out since you can't see through the railing wall. The clear plexiglass that you are talking about isn't the divider between one verandah and another, it is the half wall with railing looking out to the water. Most verandahs have a clear wall so that guests can still see the water even when seated. The Navigator's Verandah will simply be solid. No one should be able to see you on your verandah, as they are very private, so you don't need to worry about that!

I hope that clears up the difference in the two types of verandahs, Patty. Just know that you'll have a gorgeous view, your own private space to enjoy outside, and a wonderful stateroom as well.
Have fun planning and let us know if you have other questions before you set sail!
