Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristina!
I am excited to hear you and your pirate crew will be sailing with Captain Mickey this summer. One of my daughter's favorite things to do each morning is check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and the countdown featured. She likes to see that number get smaller and which of her favorite Disney characters are shown each day!
One of the best planning techniques I have found is to view what is offered on the Disney Fantasy and at each port prior to your Advanced Booking Window. My family has a "Cruise Planning Night" and we all look at what is offered and write down our top three things we want to do each day. With our top choices selected, we know what to look for after our Online Check-In is completed, as this is the first chance to make any selections online.
The ticketed
Character Greetings are always "must-book" onboard activities for us. Reservations typically go quickly, so review your at sea days on your itinerary, select Onboard Activities and look for events like the Princess Gathering and Character Breakfast. These interactive meet and greet events require tickets, but have no additional fees. If you are unable to find tickets when you check in, be sure to continue to look online until your sailing date, as some guests may change their plans. Also, you can visit Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship) when you arrive onboard for additional available tickets.
One last tip - if you have a princess or a captain, try for a reservation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. This is an amazing experience and worth the additional fee to transform your little ones with a little bit of pixie dust!
Have fun making magical memories! Angie
