    Hello! Sailing on the Fantasy in July 2013. We plan to arrive earlier to avoid line ups. What kinds of activities can you do before the ship sets sail? Thanks!

    Welcome aboard, Zhaohui! I think you'll find that your time at Port Canaveral will pass quickly. There are many places to sit, quite a few of them near televisions that play Disney shows and cartoons. Mickey or Minnie make appearances from time to time too, right near the model of the ship in the center of the terminal. If you see a Cast Member or photographer hanging around by themselves near the ship model, go ask if they're waiting on Mickey. Most likely they are and you can be one of the first in line for a photo!

    You may also choose to wait in line to register your kids for the Oceaneer's Club or Lab. However, there is really no need to wait in the line at the terminal for this. You can register them online before you travel, then once onboard, simply pick up your Mickey Bands at the Oceaneer's Club entrance on the ship. Many people don't know that, so you'll find a longer line in the terminal as people register and/or pick up Mickey Bands there. 

    If you want to get a bit of fresh air while you wait, there is an overlook area off to the right as you're facing the ship, where you can step outside the terminal, pose for a picture with the ship in the background and get even more excited about setting foot onboard!

    My suggestion is bring a snack, grab a seat near a television, watch out for the Mickey or Minnie meet and greet to begin, get a photo or two outside by the ship and get ready to experience what will surely be a magical cruise!
