Ahoy, Dale!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You've booked a FANtabulous sailing for your crew to enjoy the first week of December. The Disney Cruise Line terminal and ship have both been decked out from stem to stern with the most beautiful decor, so you'll be feeling the spirit of the season as soon as you arrive in Port Canaveral! You'll also love the whimsical holiday touches that have been added to Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. If you still need a photo for your holiday card, there will be plenty of festive spots either on the ship or on the island!
Dale, Pirate Night, including the Buccaneer Blast Fireworks Spectacular, is typically scheduled for Day 5 on the Disney Fantasy. You'll want to bring along your pirate garb to wEAR and brush up on your pirate speak (ARGH!) for the festivities! But since you've chosen a Very Merrytime Cruise for your upcoming vacation, you'll also be able to experience some extra-special fun sprinkled into your week at sea. The yuletide events will kick off the first night with Mickey's Tree Lighting Magic in the lobby atrium! You'll also be enchanted by Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball, the Deck the Deck Tropical Holiday Party and Santa Claus Meet-n-Greets! The youth programming will host some jolly fun during the sailing as well. The Gingerbread House Making event is a ticketed activity that will be offered several times throughout the week so you'll want to sign-up on the first afternoon. Specific instructions will be in your cruise newsletter, but usually you'll want to head to the Port Adventures Desk to reserve your spot.
Your cruise newsletter and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your go-to guides for your entire cruise, Dale. You'll want to keep them handy so you can stay up-to-date while onboard.
Have a magical time!
