Hello, We are sailing this fall on the Disney Dream. Our family has 2 staterooms, our reservations are linked, and we are all silver castaway level. Am I able to select excursions for all of us on my link? Also, are we considered 1 group for our MDR’s

    "Waving" hello to you, Richard!

I'm excited to hear about your family's upcoming Disney Cruise Line sailing, and happy to share my family's recent experience traveling with linked staterooms.

We sailed on Disney Dream with two other families, and had the honor of ringing in 2026 somewhere in the Atlantic alongside Disney Destiny. It was a most magical 4-night itinerary, but truthfully, I think we're all ruined for future New Year's Eve festivities now, as nothing will compare to a pool deck countdown complete with our favorite Characters, champagne, and fireworks at sea. We've already booked our next group sailing for early 2027 and are so excited to once again be in countdown mode!

Like you, we linked our reservation details using the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, which ensured we were seated together for our Rotational Dining each night. Our party of 11 had the best time getting to know our serving team, which took extra care to anticipate the needs of the youngest members of our sailing party (they loved their endless lemonade refills), just as well as they attended to the adults. Our reservation defaulted to second seating, which ended up being great for our group as it allowed us more time in our port destinations, and less of a rush to shower and change for dinner. Just be sure both staterooms have the same time listed, and you should be seated together without any additional steps.

Two of the families in our group were Silver Castaway Club Members, while the third was sailing for the very first time. I was able to schedule spa services for someone in the other Silver family as soon as my booking window opened, but we couldn't book for the first timers until they were eligible (75 days before sailing). Since both of your staterooms already have Silver Membership, you should be able to book experiences together when your window opens 90 days before your sail date.

Richard, I hope this helped. If you need further guidance or recommendations for your itinerary, please come back and let us know. I'm wishing you a magical vacation!

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
