We are sailing on the Dream on July 1, 2011 and staying off property before we depart for the cruise. Can you recommend a car service or transportation to PC, also what time can you board and are their restricted activities before the safety drill?

    Hi Greg,

I hope you enjoy travelling on Disney's newest ship the Dream! My family has travelled twice on the Disney Cruise Line and would go again in a heartbeat.

When I travel to and from the Disney Cruise terminal in Port Canaveral, I always use Happy Limos to take my family to and from the ship. This allows me to schedule a pick up time that works best for my family. It also helps us arrive at the ship earlier and back to the airport or resort sooner as well.

As for arrival times to the terminal, you will not be able to enter the terminal prior to 10:30 am. In addition, boarding the Dream will happen after 1:00 pm. You can definitely arrive earlier to the terminal to complete any last minute paperwork as well as take photos with the characters. You can even make sure your children, if you are travelling with any, are registered for the children programs. Finally, make sure you bring swimsuits, sunscreen and anything else you will need prior to receiving your luggage later in the day.

You can swim, eat lunch and stroller the boat prior to the safety drill. As long is the activity is open, you can do it.

    Wishing you a magical cruise!
