Ahoy, Jillian!
You are in for a "Dream"y time when your crew casts off on your cruise vacation in 2017! You'll love experiencing all a Disney Cruise has to offer! On Pirate Night, Guests are encouraged to don their pirate garb for a swashbuckling good time with Captain Mickey. You are welcome to bring your own or shop the selection at Mickey's Mainsail on board.
My sailors were around the same ages as yours on our first Disney Cruise. I think it's important to try not to do it all especially with younger mouseketeers. Take time each day to rest in your stateroom and take advantage of the childcare options aboard, so you feel like you have had a vacation too! Your four-year old will be able to attend the
youth programming at the Oceaneer Club and Lab while your littlest cruiser will be able to experience it's a small world nursery. The youth programming is for ages three and up and is included in your cruise fare, but please note, there is a nominal hourly fee for the nursery. Nursery reservations can be made online and are first-come, first-served.
Character Appearances are one of the many activities you can enjoy as a family. If you haven't already, be sure to secure your meet and greet tickets for Frozen Friends and the Princess Gathering online.
You'll also want to pay close attention to your cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for all the ship's happenings. In the paper newsletter, you'll want to check out the "Fun For All Ages" row for all the family friendly experiences! You can bring a highlighter to mark all your family's "must-do" activities!
It's going to be an amazing vacation aboard the Disney Dream, Jillian! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
