Welcome aboard, David!
My family and I love sailing, just the four of us, with
Disney Cruise Line. But, our most magical and memorable cruises with Captain Mickey have been when we've included extended family and friends in our trip. I'm happy to hear that you've got quite the crew getting ready to set sail together!
I'm glad you're prepping and looking ahead to save time and hassle later. You're correct that if your child is staying in a stateroom with someone other than their parents, and would like to disembark with their parents in a port, they will need a form completed to do so. This also applies to families that have two staterooms and one parent is listed in each stateroom. The parent not listed with that child must also have the form completed for the child. This is a safety measure to ensure that Disney knows that the
child is leaving the ship with an adult in their stateroom or another verified adult. Please print and complete the
Debarkation Authorization Form for any of your children that will be debarking the ship with any adults other than those in their assigned stateroom. You'll then be all set to enjoy magical Port Adventures or simply exploring the ports of call on your own, David!
Have such fun on this cruise!
