Hey there, Shari! Thank you for cruising on in with your question. We're so happy we are here to help you!
Disney Cruise Line doesn't have a rigidly set schedule for nights like
Pirate Night. Because certain things like special holiday events on your
Very Merrytime Cruise may impact the normal schedule, the day you might normally expect the popular pirate festivities to occur will be thrown off a bit.
Shari, I can tell you this. Pirate Night is pretty much never your first night onboard. Because of
Mickey's Sail-A-Wave Party!...a Bon Voyage Celebration, plus the varying arrival time of guests and luggage delivery, there's a lot going on. It's also unusual to have it on your last night, as many guests are packing their things to go home. Your best bet is to check with the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App as soon as you get onboard to determine which night it will be on your sailing. If I had to guess, I'd go with night two.
As for Christmas Day, in years past, a variety of special events has taken place. Not only will there be an option for a traditional holiday meal in your
rotational dining restaurant, but you may find Santa on Christmas morning in the atrium, there may be carolers filling the atrium with holiday classics, and there are almost always holiday activities planned throughout the day. Again, you'll want to consult that Navigator app, as the highlights change from year to year.
I hope you have a merry, magical voyage, Shari!
Anna
