We are sailing Disney Wonder and was hoping to do a tour of Alcatraz but they are sold out both days. Where does the ship dock and can we do a private tour when we get there by organising through a private company? Is the ship walking distance from tours?

Hi Casey!
Your California Coast cruise sounds amazing! Sailing into San Francisco under the Golden Gate Bridge will be one spectacular sight! The Wonder will dock at the Port of San Francisco within walking distance of two of my favorite spots, Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square!
I'm sorry the Alcatraz Tour is all sold out, but I would keep checking www.disneycruise.com because you never know, there could be cancellations. If you do decide to go with a private tour, I'm sure they will come to the pier to pick you up or have a meeting location that is close by.
