Welcome aboard, Julie!
Isn't it exciting that
Disney Cruise Line will be setting sail from
New Orleans? I love sailing the Western Caribbean from any port, but to depart from New Orleans adds a bit of extra magic because that city is so fun in itself! Congratulations on booking this magical itinerary!
I checked with Disney Cruise Line about
Pirate Night for that itinerary, and there isn't a set schedule for this particular sailing just yet. However, the agent I spoke with did say that most likely there will be a Pirate Night since the other Western Caribbean sailings include this. I don't know which night it will be just yet. But, once your online check-in begins (75 days prior to sailing for first time Disney cruisers, or 90 or more days prior for those who have sailed with Disney before), you'll be able to see the night activities listed there, including Pirate Night.
So, until then, have fun planning
Port Adventures and more for this trip. And since you have about a year until cruise time, you can take advantage of after-Halloween sales on pirate costumes and accessories so you're all set for the big cruise, Julie! It's so much fun to dress the part that night in your swashbuckling best!
Please stop back again throughout this next year if we can help with any other planning questions!
