Hey Erin! Welcome!
This looks like the perfect way to end a
Disney Cruise Line vacation - with a stay at a resort at
Walt Disney World! Truly the best of both worlds.
Port Canaveral is an hour away from the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and you can usually expect debarkation after your Disney Cruise to take place beginning at 8 AM. To finish your
Land and Sea vacation, on debarkation day, you'll have two options to get off the ship. The first is express walk-off. You'll keep your bags with you instead of putting them in the hallway on the last night of your cruise. Then, right around 7 - 7:30 AM, guests who are taking their own luggage off will be able to leave the ship.
The other option is to put your bags out in the hallway, then in the morning, you'll wait for your group to be called. You won't be able to leave the ship until your luggage group is announced, and that could take until 8 AM or even a little later.
Whichever way you choose, once you're off the ship, you'll head to a waiting Disney bus to take you to the resort area. Buses run continuously until everyone is off the ship, and the shuttles make multiple stops at the different resorts.
So, bottom line, it could be 10 AM when you arrive at your resort, and then give yourself another 45 minutes to get from your resort into the theme parks. It sounds like you'll be able to count on being there around lunchtime!
Have a great vacation, Erin!
