    Hello, We will be sailing on the Disney Fantasy on June 1st 2013. We will be visiting the the French Riviera Orient beach which last for 5 1/2 hours. Will this give us time to do some shopping near the port? Or should we choose the 3 1/2 hour trip?

    Ahoy Vance!
    Kicking off the month of June with an amazing week on the Disney Fantasy will be just spectacular!  The Eastern itinerary is just lovely, and many magical memories will be made both onboard and ashore during your seven-night cruise!
    The French Riviera Beach Rendezvous does give you an opportunity to shop after your time on the beach.  The Disney Fantasy will be docked almost ten hours so you should be fine doing both during your time in St. Maarten.  Although there are a few shops by the pier, I've found the shopping to be the best in Marigot which is where the tour operator will drop you off.  It is your responsibility to get back to the ship, and traffic on the island is congested at times so just be sure to plan extra time to get back.  Also, discuss with the taxi driver the rate before leaving for the ship so there won't be any surprises when you get to the pier.
