We are sailing on the Disney fantasy on Feb.2, just wondering if someone can give me some more info on dress attire for fancy nights. How many will we have on a 7 night cruise and what's allowed or not allowed? Thanks

Welcome aboard, Chrystal! It looks like you'll be sailing on the Fantasy's Western Caribbean itinerary on February 2. What a great time to get out of the cold and down to the warm waters of the Caribbean with Disney Cruise Line!

Though schedules are always subject to change, you can most likely expect for your seven-night Western Caribbean voyage on the Fantasy to include the following dress themed nights:

    Night 1: Cruise Casual
    Night 2: Formal Night
    Night 3: Cruise Casual
    Night 4: Cruise Casual
    Night 5: Pirate Night
    Night 6: Semi-Formal
    Night 7: Cruise Casual

Your sailing will most likely have both the formal and semi-formal nights. I've seen anything from fancy ball gowns to a simple summer dress on both of those evenings. Men are in anything from tuxedos to nice button down shirts and slacks. So, the option is really yours. Our family enjoys getting fancy on formal night. If you have a little girl, she might even like to make an appointment that day for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and be made-over into her favorite princess! The options are endless, Chrystal.

If you're dining at Palo or Remy, the men must wear slacks (no jeans) and a jacket (and usually tie). Women should wear a nice pants suit or dress. In the main dining restaurants, Disney Cruise Line asks that even on cruise casual nights, long pants and collared shirts be worn by men and boys. Though, use your discretion, as most little boys will be fine in a polo and nicer shorts.

Don't forget to pack a pirate outfit or accessory (or you can purchase them onboard) for the fun Pirate Night! It's a very popular night on Disney Cruise Line!

I hope this helps you plan Chrystal! Have a magical cruise!
