Welcome aboard, Hannah! As the snow falls outside my own window in Ohio today, I can only imagine you're also thinking warm thoughts about setting sail with Disney Cruise Line soon!
There is so much
included in the cost of a Disney Cruise Line vacation! The fabulous Youth Clubs are all included, so if your kiddos are age three or older, they have some pretty magical adventures in store! There is no need to make advanced reservations for the clubs (except the Nursery which does have an hourly cost and takes reservations). Just check out the Personal Navigator, or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard, which lists the activities and events all over the ship. Then, when your kiddos see a must-attend event in the clubs, bring them by!
There are some things that carry an extra charge onboard, but the ship is cashless, so everything can be paid for with your Key To The World Card, which charges your stateroom account. The Spa Treatments, Gift Shops, Adult Dining at Palo or Remy, specialty drinks in the bars, and Port Adventures all carry an additional cost. Also, budget for the
customary gratuities onboard, which are charged to your stateroom account the last day. The spacious gym, the Deck Four jogging/walking track, and mini-golf are included in your cruise cost, so feel free to stop in for a workout with the best view at sea while you're sailing, no extra cost!
You'll want some spending money for adventures in port and cash tips for the Cast Member who delivers your complimentary Room Service or for tips for Port Adventure Guides. When you begin online check-in, you'll see extra optional activities that carry a charge and require reservations like the Royal Court Royal Tea or Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers. Have fun as you continue to plan!
