Sailing on the Disney Fantasy this August. We are flying on Southwest but they are not included in the list of carriers for the onboard airline check in program. Southwest recently bought Air Tran, which is on the list. Does that mean we are eligible?

    Hi Scott,

I hope you enjoy your cruise on the Disney Fantasy! The Fantasy looks amazing!

Southwest is a big carrier into the Orlando airport and it surprised me that it was not on the list of carriers who participate in the resort airline check-in service program.

Disney's website states it still is in the program and I called Disney to verify that Southwest is still participating in this program. Disney confirmed Southwest still provides this service to guests.

Your eligibility is based on the carrier which ticketed you. In this case, Southwest provided the tickets so this is the airline who needs to be in the program. Their purchase of another airline does not play a factor.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
